I have to start out by saying that Union High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has the nicest high school football field I have ever seen. Check out the video's if you do not believe me. Today was a day of getting acquainted with our surroundings by not only going to Skelly Stadium on the campus on Tulsa University, but also taking the short drives to Union and Jenks High Schools. These schools are very impressive and the buzz around the campuses is spine tingling. We got some great interviews with some of the locals today that just love football, and tomorrow we get to meet up with the administration of Union. We are sleeping in the parking lot of Skelly Stadium as I type, and last night we stayed in some hotel parking lot by Tulsa International Airport. This is what I love about this trip!!! You never know what is around the corner. This Midfirst Bank Backyard Bowl is going to be huge and will just add on to the greatness of this 16 week road tour.
