Manson put up 8, so the score was 18-8 at the half. The other side of the ball was dominant for Liberty Christian in the second half, holding Manson to a measly 6 points.
Junior Curtis Morgan, who passed for 363 yards and 3 touchdowns, was a major factor in Liberty Christian's success. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse senior Parker Stephenson, who racked up 9 tackles. The win got Liberty Christian back to even at 1-1. The loss dropped Manson's record to 2-1.
Liberty Christian will look to defend their home turf next week against DeSales at 7:00 PM. As for Manson, they will face off against Wilbur-Creston.
