Pottsboro's game was tied 14 - 14 after the first half, but it couldn't pull ahead in the second. No one was more disappointed by the defeat than senior Hunter Watson, who put up a significant resistance with three TDs. The loss dropped Pottsboro's record to 6-3.
Meanwhile, Whitesboro started its game with a lot of points -- 28 points in the first half -- and coasted on that for the victory. At 35 points, that marked Whitesboro's largest margin of victory so far this year. The win bumped its record up to 6-3.
Whitesboro is looking to hand Pottsboro its first back-to-back losses of the season. We'll find out if Pottsboro can avoid giving it that satisfaction.
