Robbinsville added to the longest winning streak in 1A Conference 1 this week by beating North Henderson, 29-21. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Murphy took down Fannin County 65-25 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Swain County's dynamic duo of Ray Smith and Kobe Toineeta proved to be unstoppable against Tuscola, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Smith threw for 116 yards and Toineeta had 71 yards receiving. Jordan Cody helped Swain County's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 45 yards.

Austin Anders made the biggest impact on defense this week as Rosman bested Asheville HomeSchool. The 5-foot-11 senior.

Anders was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 149 yards on 17 carries as the Tigers lost to the Mountaineers. Teammate Landon Shipman added to the ground attack by rushing for 117 yards.

6-foot-1 quarterback Isaac Mills of Hayesville is the league leader in passing yards this season with 605. He has also thrown 3 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Cody. The Swain County star has 12 catches for 272 yards.
The top two teams in 1A Conference 1 will face off this week when first place Robbinsville takes on second place Swain County. Last week, Robbinsville topped the Knights, while Swain County lost to the Mountaineers.
The Maroon Devils' offense has recorded 131 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while Dee Walsh's team has permitted only 87 on the year.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Black Knights take on Swain County. Robbinsville has allowed 87 points this season, while the Maroon Devils have given up 110. The Black Knights allowed 21 points last week as they bested North Henderson.
The Bulldogs made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,248 from 6,011. The improvement came about via a 65-25 victory over the Rebels last week.
