There wasn't a ton of movement in the power rankings this week, but there was certainly enough to keep things interesting. Among the action were the efforts of Central's senior Trent Tompkins, an offensive menace who scored eight total TDs.

This Week's Big Showdown
One of last week's main attractions was the confrontation between Buchanan and Liberty, 26th and 53rd in the MaxPreps state rankings, respectively. Buchanan strolled past Liberty with points to spare, taking the game 28 - 13. One major factor in the win was the play of Levi Willems, who ran for 133 yards and also punched in three touchdowns.
No Stoppin 'Em
Sanger was the better team in every quarter against Lemoore last week and consequently the better team overall. Sanger claimed a 49 - 41 victory over Lemoore. Sanger's offense might have been extra motivated to turn things around after difficulties scoring in its previous game. At 90 total points, this was the highest scoring power ranking game of the week.
