Booker T. Washington (Fla.) at Summerville (S.C.), Aug. 25
- All-time wins leader John McKissick will be challenged by a talented Booker T. Washington squad. Having A.J. Green, one of the nation's best players, will certainly help.
First Coast (Fla.) at Berkeley (S.C.), Aug. 25
- Clemson recruit Andre Ellington leads the way against a First Coast squad that finished 9-2 in 2006.
Valdosta (Ga.) at Jordan (Utah), Aug. 31
- Valdosta looks to avenge last season's loss to an emerging 5A power in Utah.
Colerain (Ohio) vs. Hoover (Ala.), Sept. 1, University of Cincinnati
- The Alabama powerhouse featured on MTV's "Two a Days" will have an absolute battle on its hands against a tough Colerain team.
Elder (Ohio) vs. Independence (N.C.), Sept. 1, University of Cincinnati
- Elder could be the biggest threat to the Patriots' 108-game win streak this season.
Cardinal Mooney (Ohio) vs. Gateway (Pa.), Sept. 1, Fawcett Stadium, Canton
- Gateway star linebacker Shayne Hale lining up against heralded Mooney running back Brandon Beachum underscores this intriguing contest.
Moeller (Ohio) vs. Mission Viejo (Calif.), Sept. 1, University of Cincinnati
- With De La Salle (Calif.) on the schedule in addition to Moeller, Bob Johnson's Diablos could jump back into the national picture after a down year in 2006 - at least by Mission Viejo standards.
Canton McKinley (Ohio) vs. Tulsa Union (Okla.), Sept. 1, Fawcett Stadium, Canton
- Union followed state championship seasons in 2004 and 2005 with a 7-4 campaign last year. McKinley can contend for a state title if the team fills its quarterback void.
Cleveland Glenville (Ohio) vs. Long Beach Poly (Calif.), Sept. 1, Fawcett Stadium, Canton
- The alma mater of Ted Ginn, Jr. and Heisman winner Troy Smith takes on the school that has produced more NFL players than any other.
Grove City (Ohio) vs. Buford (Ga.), Sept. 1, Fawcett Stadium, Canton
- Buford looks to regain its form from earlier this decade, when it reached the state championship game each season from 2000-2005. Expect Grove City quarterback Elijah Smurthwaite and company to be up to the challenge.
La Salle (Ohio) vs. Indianapolis Cathedral (Ind.), Sept. 1, University of Cincinnati
- La Salle's always brutal schedule sees defending Indiana 4A state champ in week two.
St. Xavier (Ohio) vs. DeMatha (Md.), Sept. 2, University of Cincinnati
- Another matchup of two national powerhouses. Will legendary DeMatha coach Bill McGregor be able to notch a victory in front of a pro-Bomber crowd?
Northmont (Ohio) vs. Central Catholic (Pa.), Sept. 2, University of Cincinnati
- Central Catholic represents the talent rich Pittsburgh area against Northmont, which boasted an impressive 8-3 record in the adjacent Buckeye state.
Trotwood-Madison (Ohio) vs. Highlands (Ky.), Sept. 2, University of Cincinnati
- Dual-threat quarterback Domonick Britt leads the Trotwood-Madison offense against a Highlands defense that allowed less than 18 points per game last season.
Dr. Phillips (Fla.) vs. Byrnes (S.C.), Sept. 7
- Chas Dodd has big shoes to fill, succeeding Willy Korn at the quarterback position at Byrnes. Early returns have been positive.
Miami Northwestern (Fla.) vs. Southlake Carroll (Texas), Sept. 15, Southern Methodist University
- The season's biggest game could put one team on the fast track toward a mythical national championship.
Lincoln (Fla.) at Valdosta (Ga.), Sept. 21
- Florida vs. Georgia rivalry enters its 10th season.
John Curtis (La.) at Longview (Texas), Sept. 22
- J.T. Curtis' squad does not shy away from out-of-state opponents, beating Hoover (Ala.) and Choctawhatchee (Fla.) last season.
Greenwich (Conn.) at Naples (Fla.), Nov. 9
- The Connecticut school has a history of seeking out-of-state opponents, but has never traveled to Florida. Quarterback Craig Wingate and the Naples' option offense could provide a rude welcome.
Easton (Pa.) vs. Phillipsburg (N.J.), Nov. 23, Lafayette College
- The longtime rivals, separated by only the Delaware River, play for the 101st time this Thanksgiving.
