Lodi extended the longest winning streak in North Jersey - Colonial this week by beating Hanover Park, 46-21. The victory was the 10th in a row for the Rams.
Elmwood Park fell to Westwood 62-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Brandon Velez caught 5 passes for 85 yards in the defeat.
Emmanuel Appiah threw for 116 yards and 3 touchdowns. He went 9-14 with 0 interceptions.
Appiah was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 205 yards on 19 carries as Lodi lost to the Cardinals. Tommy Potoczak also contributed to the rushing game with 94 yards on the ground.
Mike Farrington's team's Mike Dare and Velez led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-6 quarterback Dare has thrown for 1,834 yards this season, while Velez has 46 catches for 797 yards. Pat Tirico's team's Appiah leads the league in rushing yards with 1,379.
The Rams made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,910 from 4,415. The advance stemmed from a 46-21 victory over the Hornets last week.
