Daingerfield (Texas) jumped out to an early lead against
Redwater (Texas) and never looked back on the way to a 26-7 victory on Saturday.
The Tigers put up seven points in the opening quarter. Daingerfield scored on a touchdown run.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, DHS was up 19-0 at the half.
Both teams scored seven points in the third quarter, so the margin remained at 19 entering the fourth.
Redwater's lone touchdown came on a 4-yard run in the third quarter.
The victory was a step in the right direction for the Tigers, who were coming off a 54-27 defeat at the hands of Gilmer in its previous game.
