After constant struggles on the road, Sterling Heights have finally found some success away from home. They strolled past L'Anse Creuse with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 32-12. The win was a breath of fresh air for Sterling Heights as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.
After their action against one another, the teams are leaving the conference to test themselves against outside opponents. Next week Sterling Heights take on Cousino at 7:00 PM. Those two teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous games. L'Anse Creuse will stay at home against Fraser at 7:00 PM. These teams both have had a rocky road up to this point with six consecutive losses for L'Anse Creuse and eight for Fraser.
