Interscholastic League [ILH] I recap September 10, 2013
Kamehameha added to the longest winning streak in Interscholastic League [ILH] I this week by beating 'Iolani, 21-13. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Warriors.
Damien was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after losing to Punahou. The Monarchs came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 28 last week.
The Buff n' Blue's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Larry Tuileta threw for 153 and 3 touchdowns and Luke Morris had 67 yards receiving. On the ground Wayne Taulapapa contributed 92 yards. Kanawai Noa helped Punahou's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 52 yards.

Tuileta and Taulapapa gave the Buff n' Blue a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Heisman Hosoda also contributed to the rushing game with 50 yards on the ground.

The marquee game in Interscholastic League [ILH] I this week will be the clash between the Raiders and St. Louis. 'Iolani enters the game ranked 13th in the state, while the Crusaders ranks fifth.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Kamehameha takes on the Buff n' Blue. Doug Cosbie's team has allowed 33 points this season, while Punahou has given up 20. The Warriors allowed 13 points last week as they beat the Raiders.
St. Louis took down Pac-Five 73-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
