Charleston Collegiate's Kerrington Stoney recorded the longest rushing play in SCISA 8-Man Region I (8 Man) this season in his game against Beaufort Academy last week. Stoney ran for 80 yards on the play and finished with 128 on the day as his team bested Beaufort Academy.
Coastal Christian Prep and St. John's Christian Academy played the closest game in the league this week, with Coastal Christian Prep eventually emerging with a 2-0 victory.
Joseph Wilson was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 40 carries, he ran for 184 yards as Henry Academy defeated Brock Vaigneur's team. Brandon Prince also contributed to the rushing game with 50 yards on the ground.
6-foot-2 quarterback Jonathan Feagin of Faith Christian is the league leader in passing yards this season with 361. He has also thrown 9 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Andre' Coaxum. The Charleston Collegiate star has 14 catches for 212 yards.
The most important game in SCISA 8-Man Region I (8 Man) this week will be the match up between Coastal Christian Prep and Beaufort Academy. J.W. Myers' team enters the contest ranked 18th in the state, while Beaufort Academy ranks 15th.
