Dr. Todd Stull of Inside Performance discusses tips on how to coach today's student-athletes. Today's student athletes present with many unique characteristics and challenges. Change is an ongoing process, and our means of communicating continues to evolve. This classroom session will focus on the following five areas. See the bullet points below and check out the audio

• Set 1: Discussion of the cultural changes that are a part of this generation of athletes. This will include a review of the basic social-cultural features of generation Y.
• Set 2: During this segment there will be a discussion of the mind-brain-body connection with the latest findings in neuroscience.
• Set 3: This will include the discussion about communication, connecting, creating and maintaining balance for today's athletes with in brain pathways in "mind."
• Set 4: Techniques for meshing your philosophy with each individual and the team to create mutual respect, team chemistry, and the desired setting for a progression throughout the season.
• Set 5: The final set will cover possible strategies to get the most out today's athletes taking into consideration the latest with the mind-brain-body connection.
