Virginia places 101 on 2012 NISCA All-American Swimming list

With the U.S. Olympic swimming team nearing the Olympics, the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association recently released its list of high school All-Americans.

The lists compile the Top 100 performances in each event during the recently completed school year. Virginia ranked 12th overall nationally in the number of athletes, while California came in at No. 1 with 750 honorees.

Led by Andrew Seliskar of Jefferson and Janet Hu of Oakton, Virginia had 44 boys All-Americans and 57 girls honorees, respectively.
