This upcoming weekend might have the best lineup of high school football teams ever assembled. The Challenge is showcasing not only the best teams from Ohio, but it also has teams like Byrnes, De La Salle, and our number one team in the nation, Lakeland. Today we got to see Lakeland first hand at their practice, and they sure have talent. This is going to make it tough tomorrow when we make our predictions, but I think in the end, Mike will agree with me this week, just so he doesn't lose any more ground.
After watching the Lakeland team, Mike and I headed over to Dave and Buster's for a little fun, and a little free food. Players from all the teams at the challenge were there to get congratulated for being a part of the Second Annual Kirk Herbstreit Ohio v. USA Challenge, so I want to take this time to congratulate all of you who read this journal, and log on to our site, as being apart of the inaugural MaxPreps.com USA Football Road Tour. It is a big deal and I thank you for your support. Enough with the gushy stuff, and let me tell you one last thing that is going to shock you like nothing else has ever shocked you before. Mike beat Me in Madden today, and the scoreboard reads 4-4. Thank you to the Herbstreit people for letting us be apart of such a great event, and good luck to all the teams.
