Everything went Benjamin Davis's way against Nimitz on Friday as they made off with a 48-14 victory. That's another feather in the cap for Benjamin Davis, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Benjamin Davis got off to a slow start in their matchup two weeks ago against Westbury, but they had no such trouble against Nimitz and cruised to a 42-point first half. Meanwhile, Nimitz couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 42-0 heading into the break. Although Benjamin Davis wound up losing the second-half battle, they still had enough in reserve to win the war. The win bumped their record up to 3-1. Nimitz are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Next week Benjamin Davis take on Aldine at 7:00 PM. Aldine took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse Benjamin Davis's good fortune. As for Nimitz, they will face off against Spring. Those two teams have had a rocky road up to this point with four consecutive losses for Nimitz and three for Spring.
