Meanwhile, Madison couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 34-0 heading into the break. Vista Murrieta were outperformed in the second half 0-6 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. The win got them back to even at 2-2. The defeat dropped Madison's record to 4-1.
Vista Murrieta will look to defend their home turf next week against Loyola at 7:00 PM. Madison will have some time to rest before their next match, which is against Cathedral Catholic in two weeks at 6:30 PM. Madison have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Cathedral Catholic are surely hoping to exploit.
