Things haven't been easy for West-Oak, and their match on Friday only extended their streak of losses to eight. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 7-33 walloping at Liberty's hands. The state rankings had actually given West-Oak a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. West-Oak will stay at home next week against Powdersville at 7:30 PM. These teams both have had a rocky road up to this point with eight consecutive losses apiece. Liberty will look to defend their home turf against Pendleton at 7:30 PM. Pendleton have averaged 42.2 points over the course of their past four games, so Liberty might be in for a challenge.
