Their game last Friday wasn't at all kind to St. Edward, but their most recent matchup may have softened the blow. They enjoyed a cozy 37-21 win over Fenton. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from St. Edward's flat performance the match before.
Among those leading the charge for St. Edward was senior Nick Wright, who rushed for 238 yards and 3 touchdowns. In fact, with 13 tackles Wright was a force on both sides of the ball. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse junior James Brisco, who racked up ten tackles.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. St. Edward will take on Ridgewood at home at 7:00 PM next week. Ridgewood are limping into the contest on a three-game losing streak. Fenton will be staying on the road, facing off against Chicago Christian. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
