King Academy added to the longest winning streak in SCISA 8-Man Region II (8 Man) this week by beating Laurens Academy, 40-16. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Knights.
Clarendon Hall made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 788 from 868. The advance stemmed from a 46-8 victory over Jefferson Davis Academy last week.
King Academy's Alex Berry and Price Carpenter have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Berry has thrown for 738 yards this season, while Carpenter has 10 catches for 304 yards. Greenwood Christian's Caleb Hinzman leads the league in rushing yards with 636.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between Andrew Jackson Academy and Richard Winn Academy. The Confederates enters the contest ranked 11th in the state, while the Eagles ranks ninth.
Wardlaw Academy led SCISA 8-Man Region II (8 Man) in scoring this week by notching 49 points on the Hawks.
