Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 8-54, which was the final score in Heritage's tilt against California. Heritage were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 8-40.
Pittsburg's victory lifted them to 3-2 while Heritage's loss dropped them down to 1-4. In their win, Pittsburg relied heavily on senior Trey Turner, who passed for 227 yards and 2 touchdowns. Heritage will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
