Granville Central were able to grind out a solid win over Roanoke Rapids two weeks ago, winning 31-22. No one put up better numbers for Granville Central than senior Brandon Peace, who brought his A game into the match. He caught passes for 149 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout to Northampton County in their previous contest, Warren County were happy to find some success. Warren County came out on top against Louisburg with a 23-16.
Their wins bumped Granville Central to 3-0 and Warren County to 2-2. Granville Central caused 3 turnovers against Roanoke Rapids, so Warren County will need to take especially good care of the ball.
