Kansas Player of the Week: Andrew Braxton- Salina Central
Braxton rushed for 335 yards on 30 carries, including touchdown runs for 98 and 68 yards, in a 24-17 victory over Maize. His 98-yard touchdown run with 7:38 remaining in the fourth quarter broke a 10-10 deadlock. On his very next carry, Braxton rumbled 68 yards for another touchdown.

Kansas Quick Hits
Bryce Brown rushed for 181 yards and two touchdowns in front of a national television audience as Wichita East downed Dodge City 21-0. Dodge City learned that Arkansas commit Kale Pick would miss the rest of the season due to an injury. East took advantage, holding Dodge City to 63 total yards in the contest.
Hutchinson won their 25th straight game by demolishing Great Bend 49-10. Sophomore running back Josh Smith rushed for 163 yards on 23 carries in the rout.
Brodrick Smith rushed for 152 yards and three touchdowns as Garden City defeated Ulysses, 27-6.
Mike Keese threw for 284 yards and two touchdowns as Olathe South defeated rival Olathe East, 35-14.
Blue Valley Northwest running back Adam Repass-Orduna rushed for 143 yards and a touchdown as Northwest defeated Blue Valley North, 17-10. It was Repass-Orduna's first game for Northwest after transferring in November from Fremont (Neb.). Repass-Orduna was one of the feature backs for Fremont over the past two seasons.
Hoisington's Cameron Horesky rushed for 178 yards and three touchdowns in a 46-6 victory over Nickerson.
