4A Conference 22 recap November 13, 2013
Courtland extended the longest winning streak in 4A Conference 22 this week by beating Monroe, 35-21. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
King George took down Chancellor 27-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Nate Garrette was the best running back in the league this week. In 10 carries, he ran for 112 yards as the Chargers fell to Liberty. Teammate Orlando Jones added to the ground attack by rushing for 29 yards.
Fauquier's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Falcons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Louis Heisler has thrown for 980 yards and 7 touchdowns this season, while Heltzel has 27 catches for 550 yards.
The Falcons' Todd Jordan is a mere 71 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. In 154 carries Jordan has accumulated 929 yard this year.
Eastern View and Kettle Run played the most contested game in the league this week, with Eastern View eventually emerging with a 34-33 victory.
