Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal added to an impressive 2019 recruiting class Saturday with the addition of No. 2 overall prospect Kayvon Thibodeaux
of Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, Calif.)
The 6-foot-5, 230-pound defensive end is coming off a senior season where he piled up 54 tackles, 19 tackles for loss and 18 sacks for the 12-1 Lions.
The Ducks were a strong favorite heading into his ESPN-televised announcement, but Alabama, Florida State and USC were among other schools heavily involved in his recruitment.
