You might not recognize the power rankings this week after a busy last week rearranged the teams a whole lot. Among the games was a one-point thriller between Tewksbury Memorial and Methuen.

The power rankings welcomes a newcomer to the scene as Bedford earned the 13th spot after its strong showing last week. The final score between it and Goffstown was a 44 - 7 blowout in Bedford's favor. 44 is shaping up to be Bedford's lucky number as the team posted the same point total in its win over Concord the game before.
Can't Touch This
Duxbury's 35 - 23 win over Scituate last week had a lot to do with the leadership of junior Tim Landolfi. Landolfi rushed for 153 yards and three touchdowns. That performance landed Landolfi among the top power-ranked players for the week.
This Week's Big Showdown
On paper, the match between Everett (1st in the power rankings) and Mansfield (6th) looked as though it might be one of the more compelling ones, but things did not play out that way on the field. Everett had all the answers against Mansfield, winning 41 - 14. Everett was heavily favored coming into this contest, and the results showcase why.
No Stoppin 'Em
The match between North Andover and Lowell last week put some strain on the scoreboard; in fact, with a total of 63 final points, it was the highest scoring contest in the power rankings for the week. North Andover put the hurt on Lowell with a conclusive 49 - 14 victory. As a result, North Andover rose two spots in the power rankings.
