The Oklahoma Secondary Schools
Activities Association announced today that some of the games scheduled for
Monday and Tuesday need to be moved due to the recent snow and ice that pelted
Oklahoma last week.
The Class 6A final between Jenks
and Enid has been tentatively moved to Friday, Dec. 8 at Skelly Stadium in
Tulsa.
The Class 4A final between Bishop
McGuinness (Oklahoma City) and Grove has been moved to Thursday, Dec. 7 at
Broken Arrow Memorial Stadium.
Also, two Class 2A semifinals were
moved to Saturday. The semifinal encounter between Vian and Davis has been
moved to Putnam City High School in the Oklahoma City metro area on Saturday.
The contest was originally scheduled to take place on Monday in Choctaw.
Millwood and Spiro will also play on Saturday at Tulsa East
Central.
