The Latest: Defeated Goleman 11-0 in the Florida 6A semifinals and Park Vista 4-1 in the state finals.
Highlights: Nick Franklin had three hits and Josh Ledford pitched six innings for the win in the championship game against Park Vista. The Patriots ended Park Vista’s 30-game win streak.

2. Owasso (Okla.), 36-3
The Latest: Season over – State champion.
3. Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, Nev.), 41-3
The Latest: Defeated Reno 13-0 in the semifinals and Green Valley 8-3 in the finals to win the Nevada 4A state championship.
Highlights: Joey Rickard had a home run and a double for Bishop Gorman in the finals against Green Valley and also went five innings on the mound, striking out six. Stephen Manthei picked up the win in relief. In the semifinals, John Rickard and Brandon Garcia both hit home runs and Paul Sewald pitched a one-hitter.

4. Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, S.C.), 17-3
The Latest: Defeated Conway 4-3 and 5-1 to win the South Carolina 4A state championship.
Highlights: The Bulldogs won the first state championship in a boys sport for the school with a 5-1 win over Conway. Winning pitcher Cameron Holmes had a two-run homer and struck out nine batters in a complete game win..

5. Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, La.), 35-4

6. Hamilton (Chandler, Ariz.), 25-8

7. Rocky Mountain (Fort Collins, Colo.), 23-4
The Latest: Lost to Air Academy 8-3, but rebounded to win the second game 13-7 for Colorado 5A state championship.
Highlights: Jake Stewart, Andy Burns and Alex Kelly all homered in the win for Rocky Mountain.

8. Dunedin (Fla.) 26-5
The Latest: Defeated Brandon 16-3 in the semifinals and South Fork 3-2 in 10 innings for the Florida 5A state championship.
Highlights: Dunnedin won its first state championship in 44 years behind the pitching of Clay Kollenbaum, who went six innings and struck out eight, and Jake Rogers, who pitched the final three innings for the win. Max Kreuter was 3-for-6 with a double and the gamewinning RBI in the 10th.

9. American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.), 29-2
The Latest: Defeated Pensacola Catholic 11-6 in semifinals and John Carroll 8-2 in Florida 3A state finals.
Highlights: Nick Castellanos had two home runs and six RBI in a 10-0 win over Chaminade. In the 11-6 victory, Castellanos, Deven Marrero and Brandon Sedell all hit round-trippers for the Patriots.

10. Barbe (Lake Charles, La.), 32-6-1
The Latest: Season over – State champion.
11. Plano West (Plano, Texas), 34-0
The Latest: Swept Rockwall 3-2 and 6-4 in Texas 5A regional quarterfinal.
Highlights: Harrison Holmes and Reed Dillard each rapped doubles in a 6-4 win to keep Plano West unbeaten. Holmes also had a double in West’s 3-2 win over Rockwall.
What’s Up Next: Meets Cedar Park in 5A regional semifinal.
12. Georgetown (Texas), 20-7
The Latest: Defeated Klein 0-16, 1-0, 2-1 in Texas 5A state playoffs.
Highlights: Erik Miller pitched five innings of no-hit ball to send Klein to defeat in the third game of the regional playoffs.
What’s Up Next: Plays Rowlett in Texas 5A regional semifinal.
13. Rowlett (Texas), 34-1-2
The Latest: Defeated Allen 6-3, 14-0 in Texas 5A regional quarterfinals.
Highlights: Andrew Johnson and David Jackson both hit home runs and Drew Mayhall, Brandon Loy, Blake Hamblin, Reed Graham, Chase Castilla, Steven Cannon and Jackson all added doubles in Rowlett’s 14-0 win over Allen.
What’s Up Next: Plays Georgetown in 5A regional semifinals.
14. Bishop Kenny (Jacksonville, Fla.), 26-4
The Latest: Defeated Rockledge 4-2 in semifinals and Riverdale 9-3 in Florida 4A state finals.
Highlights: Kurtis Mullaney and Jimmy Howick each drove in a pair of runs in the first inning to help the Crusaders build an early lead in the championship game against Riverdale. Mullaney finished with two hits and two RBI while Howick also had two hits with three RBI. Lou Amargo added a home run and Weston Hoekel got the complete game victory with seven strikeouts.

15. Alvin (Texas), 32-4
The Latest: Defeated Brazoswood 1-7, 3-2, 4-3 in Texas 5A regional quarterfinal.
Highlights: Josh Land went seven innings and struck out nine to give Alvin the win in the decisive third game with Brazoswood.
What’s Up Next: Plays Bellaire in Texas 5A regional semifinals.
16. Carroll (Southlake, Texas), 27-8
The Latest: Defeated Coppell 2-1, 7-6 in Texas 5A regional quarterfinals.
Highlights: Shaun McPeters homered and Zack Bellenger, Andrew LaCombe and Will Watson all doubled to help Carroll advance to the semifinals. Ethan Cunningham picked up the win.
What’s Up Next: Plays Amarillo in 5A regional semifinals.
17. Park Vista (Boynton Beach, Fla.), 30-1
The Latest: Defeated Lakeland 9-4 in semifinals, lost to Lake Brantley 4-1 in Florida 6A state finals.
Highlights: Park Vista saw its 30-game win streak come to an end against Lake Brantley in the 6A state final game.

The Latest: Lost to South Fork 3-0 in Florida 5A state semifinals.
Highlights: Niceville managed just one hit in falling to eventual state runner-up South Fork in the semifinals. Brett DeVall took the loss to finish 13-2 on the season.

20. Klein (Spring, Texas), 26-6
The Latest: Defeated Georgetown 16-1, but then lost 1-0 and 2-1 in Texas 5A regional quarterfinals.
Highlights: Klein was unable to solve Georgetown pitcher Erik Miller, going hitless through the first five innings of a 2-1 loss. Matt Purke got the lone win in the series, throwing just 56 pitches in a 16-1 win.

Highlights: Earned the No. 1 seed for the San Diego Section Division 1 playoffs.

The Latest: Defeated Sullivan South 13-0 in third round of Tennessee state 3A playoffs.
Highlights: The Admirals advanced to the state tournament with a 13-0 rout of Sullivan South. Freshman pitcher Phillip Pfeifer struck out 10 in the win while Joey Delmonico was 3-for-3 with a home run and six RBI.

23. Horizon (Scottsdale, Ariz.), 24-9
The Latest: Season over – State champion.
24. Fayetteville (Ark.), 29-3
The Latest: Defeated Springdale Har-Ber 7-2 to capture Arkansas 7A state championship.
Highlights: The Purple Dogs won their third straight state championship and Taylor Shaddy was named the tournament MVP for the second straight season after giving up one earned run and going 2-for-3 with a triple in the state finals against Har-Ber. Shaddy finished the season with a 9-0 record.
