Paulmer Gregory and Matt Seiber provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Archbishop Murphy. The connection went for 76 yards, the longest such play in 1A/2A Cascade this season.
Lakewood added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Wildcats, 28-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Cougars.
Lakewood's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Blake Watts threw for 159 and 2 touchdowns and Seiber had 122 yards receiving. On the ground Gregory contributed 42 yards. Brett Bustad helped Lakewood's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 97 yards.

On the heels of Watts and Gregory, the Cougars have had great success on offense. Watts leads the league in passing with 564 yards, while Gregory has rushed for 193 yards this season. Tops in the league in receiving yards is Jerry Jensen's team's Conner Longoria, with 228 yards on 20 catches.
The top two teams in 1A/2A Cascade will face off this week when first place Lakewood takes on second place South Whidbey.
Sultan led the league in scoring this week after putting up 41 points on Granite Falls.
