After two weeks on the road, West Philadelphia is heading back home. On Friday they take on Benjamin Franklin at 6:30 PM. West Philadelphia are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
Their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to West Philadelphia, but their most recent matchup may have softened the blow. They made easy work of Overbrook last Friday and carried off a 36-12 win. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from West Philadelphia's flat performance the match before.
Meanwhile, Benjamin Franklin fought the good fight in their overtime game but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. Benjamin Franklin didn't finish too far behind, but the team still lost 6-12 to Olney.
West Philadelphia's victory lifted them to 2-4 while Benjamin Franklin's loss dropped them down to 3-3. We'll find out if West Philadelphia can add another positive mark to their record or if Benjamin Franklin can shake off the loss and take the spring out of West Philadelphia's step.
