7A District 15 recap September 24, 2013
Plantation was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after defeating Nova. The Colonels came in at 24 in the state poll after placing at number 31 last week.
Hollywood Hills moved up to 286 from 325 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 7A District 15. The Spartans were able to move up by topping South Broward 34-13.
St. Thomas Aquinas' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Raiders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Wade Freebeck has thrown for 267 yards this season, while Devante Peete has 3 catches for 99 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when St. Thomas Aquinas takes on the Titans. As it stands, the Raiders are in second, while Nova is in fourth.
Plantation took down Bill Hobbs' team 40-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
