Porterville have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Thursday they take on Hanford at 7:30 PM. Both teams are strolling into their game after big wins in their previous games.
Porterville was the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They were the clear victor with a 47-14 margin. No one had a better game by the numbers than sophomore Hector Nava jr, who brought his A game into the match. He passed for 340 yards and 6 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, everything went Hanford's way against Fresno last Friday as they made off with a 34-13 win.
Their wins bumped Porterville to 3-0 and Hanford to 2-2. After both teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune.
