After having lost a blowout to Winona in their previous game, Choctaw County was happy to find some success on Thursday. Choctaw County were fully in charge, breezing past Choctaw Central 64-14. That result is just more of the same for Choctaw County, who also won the last time these teams played.
Choctaw County's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 41 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Choctaw Central couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 41-0 heading into the break. The offense for Choctaw County continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 23 points. The win bumped their record up to 2-1. Choctaw Central are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.
Next week, Choctaw County take on Caledonia at 7:00 PM. Choctaw Central will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Newton at 7:00 PM.
