Whitley County took down Lynn Camp 49-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Colonels led 5A District 8 in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on the Wildcats.
Perry County Central's dynamic duo of Austin Pray and Nathan Pray proved tough for Rockcastle County to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Pray threw for 236 yards and three touchdowns and Pray had 188 yards receiving. Tyler Fugate helped Perry County Central's passing attack out by catching three balls for 48 yards.
Jake Middleton was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 25 carries, he ran for 131 yards as Harlan County topped the Rockets. Austin Maggard also contributed to the rushing game with 60 yards on the ground.
Perry County Central's Pray and Pray have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Pray has thrown for 1101 yards this season, while Pray, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 19 catches for 486 yards. The Black Bears' Middleton leads the league in rushing yards with 913.
Middleton of the Harlan County is only 87 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
Letcher County Central made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,831 from 8,466. The improvement was the result of 59-14 victory over the Cougars last week.
