After a totally unproductive first quarter, the Conrad Weiser offense stepped up its game and put 14 points on the board in the second quarter. Exeter Township countered with 6 points, leaving the score at 14-6 going into the half. The other side of the ball was dominant for Conrad Weiser in the second half, holding Exeter Township to a measly 6 points.
No one put up better numbers for Conrad Weiser than senior Alex Mackenzie, who brought his A game into the match. He picked up 42 yards on the ground and accumulated 104 passing yards. The Conrad Weiser defense stepped up as well to lay out the quarterback five times. The win bumped Conrad Weiser's record up to 5-1. The loss dropped Exeter Township back to even at 3-3.
Next week Conrad Weiser take on Susquehanna Township at 7:00 PM. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a win streak alive as Conrad Weiser skips in on five wins and Susquehanna Township on four. Exeter Township will be staying on the road, facing off against Reading.
