Capistrano Valley Christian scaled the state rankings by moving to 528 from 800 this week, the biggest jump in San Joaquin. The Eagles climbed the ranks as a result of besting Linfield Christian 21-7.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Capistrano Valley Christian beat the Lions 21-7,. The win marks fourth in a row for the Dan Dodd's team.
The Eagles' dynamic duo of Riley Babick and Ben Sukut proved tough for Linfield Christian to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Babick threw for 254 yards and 2 touchdowns and Sukut had 112 yards receiving. Sam Sukut helped Capistrano Valley Christian's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 93 yards.
Capistrano Valley Christian's dynamic duo of Babick and Sukut proved to be unstoppable against DeChon Burns' team, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Sukut was the best receiver in the league this week as the Eagles defeated the Lions.
He was 15-27 with 0 interception.
Charlie Morris was the best running back in San Joaquin this week. He ran for 114 yards on 6 carries as Saddleback Valley Christian bested Linfield Christian. Teammate David Molina added to the ground attack by rushing for 88 yards.
Babick put up the best numbers in passing as the Eagles defeated the Lions.
Capistrano Valley Christian's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Babick has thrown for 864 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Sukut has 22 catches for 300 yards.
The Warriors took down Rock Academy 48-2 last week, the largest margin of any game. Sawyer Caso-Nogle threw for 79 yards, ran for 10 yards and caught 1 pass for 39 yards during the win.
