LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Special teams carried Pleasure Ridge Park (Louisville, Ky.)
to a 48-18 victory over Central Hardin (Cecilia, Ky.) on Saturday as the return units contributed two touchdowns. The Panthers's special teams scored on a kick return and a punt return.
After taking the lead on a punt return touchdown by Jacob Clair
in the first quarter, Pleasure Ridge Park led 28-10 at the half.
PRP expanded its lead to 23 points entering the fourth quarter. The Louisville school scored two times in the third, including once on a kick return touchdown by Taywan Taylor
With the win the Panthers extended their winning streak to 12 games. Pleasure Ridge Park defeated the Rebels 44-20 last week.
Zack Helton played well for the Bruins. The sophomore wide receiver caught one touchdown.
PRP's most effective player was Spencer Sumpter
. The senior quarterback threw two touchdowns.
