As a result, Mission Viejo (Calif.) held on to No. 1 as it has since the first preseason poll in February. Alexander Central (Taylorsville, N.C.) and Pioneer (San Jose, Calif.) remained No. 2 and No. 3 as each extended winning streaks.
McQuillin is just three wins away from tying the California Interscholastic Federation's Southern Section record for most career victories by a pitcher (100). The Diablos have won 51 of their last 52 games.
Alexander ran its win streak to 90 games, but the Cougars trailed 3-2 in the third before scoring single runs in the third, fourth and fifth for the 5-3 win.
Pioneer remained unbeaten with its seventh shutout in its last eight wins and has won 33 of its last 34 games.
New to the Top 10 this week is Sherwood (Sandy Springs, Md.). Ranked No. 10, Sherwood has won a Maryland record 79 in a row.
New to the Top 25 this week are unbeatens Tualatin (Ore.), Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, Minn.), and Olympia (Wash.) and twice beaten Forest (Ocala, Fla.) returns after winning the state 6A title and finishing 30-2.

Taylor McQuillin topped the week off with a 17-strikeout,10-0 no-hit win over El Toro (Lake Forest, Calif.). It was McQuillin's fifth no-hitter of the season.
2. (2) Alexander Central (Taylorsville, N.C.), 26-0After opening the postseason with a pair of wins by a combined 34-0 margin, the Cougars had their hands full with Lake Norman (Mooresville, N.C.), winning 5-3.
3. (3) Pioneer (San Jose, Calif.), 25-0Pioneer rode a pair a pair of one-hitters by
Holly Azevedo to keep Pioneer unbeaten. She is 24-0 and has not allowed an earned run this season. Azevedo has 18 shutouts this season.
Alex Luna is leading the offense with nine homers and 32 RBIs to go with a team-high .420 batting average.
4. (5) Rockwall (Texas), 26-0-1 The Lady Jackets made quick work of Highland Park (Dallas), 13-0 and 17-0, to advance to the third round of the Texas 6A Playoffs.
5. (7) Lebanon (Ohio), 25-0The Warriors routed Xenia 20-1 and 13-0 to run their regular season record to 25-0.
6. (6) Aledo (Texas), 16-0Aledo ran its win streak to 41 with a 6-3 playoff win over Brewer (Ft. Worth, Texas).
7. (8) Coronado (Lubbock, Texas), 25-0-1 The Mustangs beat Odessa, 12-3, to advance in the Texas 6A playoffs.
8. (9) Crown Point (Ind.), 21-1Crown Point beat Lake Central, 9-0, then blanked Valpairiso, 5-0 and ended last week by getting revenge over Portage (Ind.) 9-4. Portage handed CP its only loss 11 games ago.
9. (10) Bishop Carroll (Wichita, Kan.), 18-0The Golden Eagles ran their win streak to 26 with a 12-2, 11-0 sweep of Northwest (Wichita, Kan.). Their offensive numbers are staggering — .605 team batting average, 110 extra base hits (34 home runs) and a team on base percentage of .671.
10. (12) Sherwood (Sandy Spring, Md.), 17-0The Warriors defeated Paint Branch on Monday, 15-1, to run their win streak to 79 straight to extend their own state record.
11. (16) Mercy (Farmington Hills, Mich.), 14-0Mercy swept Marian (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.), 14-8 and 11-3, then beat Ladywood 3-2 and 12-1.

Missy Zoch pitched a one-hitter and struck out nine in the 10-0 win and scattered three hits with eight strikeouts in the 7-0 victory.
14. (20) Mount St. Dominic Academy (Caldwell, N.J.), 23-1Seven starters hitting over .300 have keyed Mt. St. Dominic's 20-game win streak.
15. (17) Yucaipa (Calif.), 24-3The Thunderbirds have shut out nine of 11 opponents behind the pitching of senior
Brooke Bolinger, who no-hit East Valley (Redlands, Calif.) last Thursday. In her last 11 games, Bolinger has allowed just 11 hits.
16. (21) Cape Fear (Fayetteville, N.C.), 20-0Mary Williams led Cape Fear to the conference title and a top seed as the postseason begins on Wednesday. She is 19-0 with an 0.15 ERA and has 184 strikeouts in 93 innings. She has allowed just 19 hits in 19 games. She is also batting. 559 with 50 RBIs.
17. (NR) Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, Minn.), 16-1Since losing to East (Mankato, Minn.) on April 17, the Cougars have won 10 in a row. On the season, they have allowed just seven runs as pitcher
Maddie Damon has allowed only 18 hits in 93 innings while striking out 230 (an average of 2.4 per inning). Damon, who also has eight homers, has seven no-hitters and a 0.22 ERA.
