MaxPreps is pleased to announce that the
East (Salt Lake City, Utah) Leopards have officially been named to the 12th Annual MaxPreps Tour of Champions presented by the Army National Guard, which is in its 12th year honoring football.
This is one of the most prestigious team awards in all of high school sports and it is an exclusive honor reserved for the top 100 teams nationwide. In order to be eligible, a team must win a state championship and be highly ranked in the

On Friday, Nov. 18 the East Leopards became repeat UHSAA Class 4A state champions with a 48-20 win over the previously undefeated Springville Red Devils at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. This is the 18th football state title for East High School.
En route to the state final, the team remained unbeaten with playoff wins over Skyline (70-20), Timpview (47-34) and Maple Mountain (64-13). At the completion of its successful postseason run, the Leopards scored a record-breaking 229 points in the state tournament, and averaged 57.3 points per game with a combined 404 total rushing yards.
