There are still officially two weeks left in the high school softball season, but there was little movement in the MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Softball Rankings this week.
While several of the northern states have yet to complete their postseason, every team in the Top 50 has been finished or finished its season this past week. The only team to make a significant move was Immaculate Heart Academy, which won a group championship in New Jersey and finished undefeated. It moved up three spots from No. 41 to No. 38.
Keystone remains the No. 1 overall team at 32-0. A correction was made to Porter Ridge's overall record. It went 2-1 in a semifinal series with North Davidson in the North Carolina 4A playoffs and its previous record did not reflect the loss and the extra win.
