Our first day in southern California was action packed as we had only one day to prepare for the Game of the Week. We got an all around tune-up on the Express and headed over to Oaks Christian to look around the campus. We were in time to check out the afternoon practice and talk with the staff and players. Once again, the football program and school was great from top to bottom. It has been encouraging to see that where we find thriving football programs we have always found great coaches and staff who are equipping their athletes to succeed long after they hang up the pads.
Then, as a hard as it is to believe, we may have topped our Vegas buffet from last night due to the meal my Aunt cooked up for Chris and I tonight. We stuffed ourselves full and it's fair to say that if I keep up this pace my 10 inch vertical may be negatively impacted and the NBA may have to wait.
