Going from huge game to huge game every week occasionally causes me to forget how emotional of an experience these games are for the players. The contrast of emotions between both teams after any game is always one of the most memorable moments of any week. Watching the euphoria overwhelm one team while the other team falls to their knees in devastation is always a bittersweet moment of the game. All this to say, I hope the Kennedy boys are able to look back at this week's incredible game and be thankful that they were apart of it even though the result was not what they hoped for. Considering the stage that this game was played on, this was arguably the best game we have seen all tour and one I will certainly remember.
Although I can't believe what I'm about to write, the Road Tour is now headed to the season finale in California, where 3 bowl games will decide who will take home state crowns in the nation's largest state for the first team in nearly 80 years. We have been around the entire nation and witnessed high school football in a manner that has never been done before in human history. It is only fitting that we end the tour by watching a little more history take place in California to send Chris and I off the right way.
