Pe Ell/Willapa Valley's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 40 first-half points. Meanwhile, North Beach couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 40-0 heading into the break. Pe Ell/Willapa Valley were outscored in the second half, but North Beach's efforts were ultimately no more than a drop in the ocean.
Pe Ell/Willapa Valley found Pe Ell/Willapa Valley's leader in underclassman sophomore Logan Walker, who punched in 2 rushing TDs and accumulated 82 passing yards. Smith has been a consistent playmaker for Pe Ell/Willapa Valley as this was the 3rd good game in a row from him. Sophomore Logan Walker was in the mix, too, providing Pe Ell/Willapa Valley with three touchdowns. The win was the 4th in a row for them, as they raised their record to 6-2. North Beach are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.
Next week Pe Ell/Willapa Valley take on Ocosta at 7:00 PM. Pe Ell/Willapa Valley will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last. North Beach will look to defend their home turf against Chief Leschi at 7:00 PM.
