Lake Travis (Austin, Texas) kept up a steady attack all game long to defeat Anderson (Austin, Texas), 40-10, on Saturday.
The Cavaliers were up 20-3 at the half after taking the lead on a field goal in the first quarter.
Lake Travis expanded its lead to 30 points entering the fourth quarter. LT scored three times in the third, including once on a field goal by
Kevin Marcotte.
Marcotte was the top performer for the Cavaliers. The senior kicked three field goals and three extra points.
The Trojans' lone touchdown came on a 14-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Lake Travis had given up an average of 15.6 points prior to the contest.
With the win LT extended its winning streak to four games.
In a 5A Region II District 15 game next week Anderson (0-7) takes on Austin, and Lake Travis (7-1) will go up against Del Valle also in a 5A Region II District 15 game.
