In almost any game, 58 points would all but guarantee a win. Not in this one. Lakeside got past Roosevelt with less than a touchdown to spare, ending up at 64-58.
Lakeside's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 35 first-half points. Roosevelt wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 34 to make it 35-34 heading into the break. The offense for Lakeside continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 29 points to put the game away. The victory bumped their record up to 4-3. The defeat dropped Roosevelt's record to 4-3.
Lakeside will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Cleveland. As for Roosevelt, they will face off against Chief Sealth. Chief Sealth also lit up the scoreboard in their last match, so this could be a high-scoring match.
