On Friday West Allegheny take on Bethel Park at 7:00 PM. Both teams are strolling into their game after big wins in their previous games.
West Allegheny had to kick off their season on the road last Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victor with a 41-7 margin. Senior Dante Flati, who rushed for 90 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in West Allegheny's success.
Meanwhile, Bethel Park gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener. They made easy work of Woodland Hills and carried off a 41-20 win. The margin was wide but not a surprise since Bethel Park are ranked far ahead of Woodland Hills in the MaxPreps state rankings.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 1-0. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Bethel Park and West Allegheny will really light up the scoreboard.
