Too often all-star games don't live up to their hype. Saturday night's Crab Bowl did.
The annual game features the top seniors from the Baltimore and Washington, D.C., area not only against each other, but in front of several college scouts.

For the first time in the three-year history of the game Baltimore came away with a 21-17 victory in a back-and-forth game played at Bowie State in front of an announced crowd of 2,658.
Glenelg's
Colin Osborne (James Madison commit) led Baltimore with two touchdown receptions of 43 and 50 yards. He caught the first from Loyola quarterback
Mike Fafaul, and the second, which proved to be the game-winner, from
North Harford's (Pylesville) Brandon Bayer.
"It was a great experience," Osborne told The Baltimore Sun. "The practices were fun. They weren't intense, but not too chilled either."
Virginia Tech-bound
Michael Branthover (DeMatha) put Washington on the scoreboard first when he nailed a 29-yard field goal on the team's second possession.
Baltimore took a 7-3 lead when
Walkersville's Quenti Ezell scampered into the end zone from five yards out. But Washington responded with a 96-yard drive as
Damascus quarterback Connor Frazier completed all five of his passes on the seven-play drive, topped off with an 18-yard touchdown toss to Milton Williams (Frederick Douglas) to take a 10-7 halftime lead.
Three interceptions by Friendly High's
Sherrod Baltimore kept Washington in the game, but it wasn't enough as Osborne's fourth-quarter touchdown, the only one of the quarter, proved to be the difference.
