After taking the lead on a
Charlie High touchdown pass to
Franklin Murchison in the second quarter,
Christian Academy of Knoxville (Knoxville, Tenn.) led 27-14 at the half.
The Warriors expanded their lead to 27 points entering the fourth quarter. Christian Academy of Knoxville scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by
Josh Smith.
CAK's standout player in the win was High. The senior quarterback ran for one touchdown. He has now scored 10 touchdowns on the season.
Milan (Tenn.) came in allowing just 13.9 points per game this season. The Bulldogs struggled against the Knoxville school, which came in averaging 45.5 points per game. The Warriors came in allowing an average of 29.3 points per game this season.
When the two teams played each other last season, Christian Academy of Knoxville came away with a 49-14 victory.
The loss comes after Milan defeated Christ Presbyterian Academy 16-8 last week.
