Fans got a thrill when Ben Dutze and Tre Sanders connected against Sherman. The connection went for 89 yards, the longest such play in 4A Region II District 13 this season.
Wylie was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from third to first in the league. The Pirates beat Lovejoy 30-21 earlier in the week.
Garrett McCain threw for 258 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was 17-27 with 1 interception.

Denison moved up to 384 from 481 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Yellowjackets were able to move up by beating Wylie East 47-46.
