Adding to the longest winning streak in Freelance this week, Muskegon Catholic Central beat Beal City 35-12. The victory was the 12th in a row for the team.
Muskegon Catholic Central was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after defeating the Aggies. Steve Czerwon's team came in at 23 in the state poll after placing at number 32 last week.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Chavez Academy's Omar Salih and Nate Drew have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-10 quarterback Salih has thrown for 3,305 yards this season, while Drew has 70 catches for 1,379 yards. Raynell Anderson from Sault Area leads the league in rushing with 1,936 yards.
In 104 carries Austin Brown has accumulated 906 yard this year.
The Crusaders took down Beal City 35-12 last week, the largest margin of any game.
