Gardner-Edgerton added to the longest winning streak in Eastern Kansas this week by beating North, 29-26. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.

Blue Valley Southwest's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. DRAKE HERRMAN threw for 118 and 2 touchdowns and LUKE WILMES had 50 yards receiving. On the ground SAL VANESSE contributed 65 yards. SAM RANDALL helped Blue Valley Southwest's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 41 yards.

Thanks to the talents of Jared Hobby and Traevohn Wrench, Marvin Diener's team has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Hobby is tops in the league in passing with 1,100 yards, while Wrench has rushed for 1,659 yards this season. Blue Valley Southwest's RANDALL leads the league in receiving yards with 464 on 19 catches.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between the Jaguars and Blue Valley. Blue Valley West enters the game ranked 11th in the state, while the Tigers ranks fourth.
Bishop Miege took down Harmon 74-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
